April Blog Goals

This is not my first rodeo when it comes to blogs. There have been many failed attempts, some slightly more successful than others, of running a quality content blog. However, with each of those failures comes mini lessons that hopefully will help me make this one a success.

The number one thing I have learned is to SET GOALS because I am a particularly goal oriented person. Just saying that I want to accomplish something is not enough — I need lists. This is something so intrinsic to who I am that I have what I affectionately call my “Life Binder” which is literally a binder with lists upon lists of what I need to do to become a Child Life Specialist, my ultimate career goal.

Anyways, enough about the WHY. Here is the WHAT.

  1. Post every MONDAY and THURSDAY (I’ve already been starting this pattern so I’d like to continue it)
  2. Get 10 followers (sad)
  3. Have posts scheduled the week before
  4. Start using better cover images for posts.

That’s a small list, I know, but I’d rather set smaller goals now and then build them up as I go.

How did you get the hang of running a blog?
