On June 8th, I finished my intensive Spanish class in advanced grammar!
As hard as it was, I think it was one of my favorite classes I’ve taken at JMU. I got so much out of it and my Spanish speaking and comprehension skyrocketed. Also, I was able to finish the class with a 91, which isn’t too shabby.
This class really cemented the fact for me that grammar is definitely my strongest point in Spanish. It makes so much sense to me and I actually find it weirdly ~fun~.
Thankfully, my weakest point – vocabulary – definitely improved over the four weeks. Every single class was pure Spanish and I had to learn how to explain myself thoroughly during class. The professor was amazing and seriously deserves JMU recognition or something because he surpassed all my expectations.
But there you have it! My last Spanish class before SPAIN! I can’t believe that for the next two months, I have to be preparing on my own. Any tips are greatly appreciated!
